The official app for Silat Institute - everything students, parents, and instructors need for Pencak Silat martial arts training, right on your phone.

Note: This app contains information and videos for all our techniques, an internal scoring app, updated events, belt ranking, and much more. Although this app is free to the public, you must be a member of the Silat Institute and be approved by one of the instructors before having access to the app.

TECHNIQUES BY BELT
Browse your curriculum by belt level, with instructional videos and information for every technique, and dedicated sections for Satria Muda, Jawara Muda, and Abah Juara students.

MATCH SCORING
A built-in scoring display for matches, tracking points, penalties, and match time during competitions.

ATTENDANCE & STUDENT RANKING
See your attendance history, track your personal benchmarks such as pushups, plank, and mile time, and check your ranking against classmates.

NEW FEATURES

- Push notifications: admins can broadcast an announcement to everyone
(Menu > Content > Send Notification). Every announcement is saved to
an in-app history (Menu > Reference > Announcements), admins can
delete them, and if you missed one while the app was closed, it pops
up the next time you open the app. The app badge/notification dot
now clears properly when you catch up.

- Photo album link in the header: admins set a Google Photos link
once; everyone gets a tappable icon to it.

- Plank added as a benchmark, shown right under Pushups.

- Student avatar now shows at the top of the ranking stats popup on
the home screen.

FIXES

- Icons and splash screen: the Android app icon and splash logo were
rendering much smaller than intended - fixed. The iOS app icon now
matches Android's full-color design instead of the old plain teal
one.

- iPad: the splash logo was badly off-center on iPad specifically -
fixed.

- Benchmark time fields (Plank, Deadhang, Mile, 50m Dash, Wallsit):
replaced the old free-text entry (which couldn't even type a colon)
with a proper minute:second picker, fixed a crash in it, and fixed a
bug where missing values were saving/showing as the literal word
"null" instead of blank.

- Box Jumps removed from benchmarks (barely used), rebalancing the
grid to a clean 3x3. 3.0.1 Sep 22 Update to stats, now showing correct stats. 2.0.1 10/18/2024 Improved layout
